The Sunday Lectionary is a three year cyclical lectionary. We are currently in Year B. Beginning with the first Sunday of Advent in 2021, we will be in Year C. The year which ended at Advent 2020 was Year A.

A mixture of psalms sung by congregation, choir and choir with congregation should be offered, with an occasional hymn possibly taking the place of the psalms. The hymns given after the New Testament lessons are for use as a Gradual/Sequence Hymn or after the Gospel has been proclaimed.
